Nowadays, with the growing interest in hybrid vehicles and electric cars, more attention is being paid to smaller companies and their concept cars. Future Vehicle Technologies is a company that has spent years working on the efficiency of their car. The car was displayed at the 2009 SEMA convention sporting a significant increase in miles per gallon. The original car achieved 92 miles per gallon on gasoline alone, but this hybrid concept achieves up to 325 mpge (miles per gallon equivalent) at certain speeds.
